Electrical Vehicle (EV) Smart Charging deals with the problem of computing in real-time the charging power setpoints for active EV charging sessions taking place in a given load-area supported by MEC storage and processing capabilities.
A decentralised scheme will be investigated and tested using a 5G infrastructure, so the computational effort is distributed among session agents communicating to each other through 5G communications.
