This use case covers:

  • Educational surgery using a video streaming platform which provides a near-real-time feed from an operational facility towards a classroom for educational purposes.
  • Remote ultrasound examination using tele-sonography to enable an expert to guide a remote doctor or paramedic in performing ultrasound exams and ultrasound-guided intervention.
  • Paramedic support using 5G to connect a healthcare professional responding to medical emergencies supported by a medical expert located at a hospital or medical facility.
  • Critical health event using wearable video at a mass casualty event to provide video for higher situational awareness for mass casualty supervisor and scene commanders.
